Discovery

Beta, by invitation with built-in intelligence

Learn what customers need before you build. Discovery walks your team through product discovery, and its agent answers from your own interviews and product data, with the evidence for every point.

What is Discovery?

Discovery is a product discovery tool for product teams. You set a goal, add what customers told you and what your numbers show, and ask the discovery agent what it means. Every answer points to the interview or data set behind it, and the opportunities you find go on a roadmap.

Who is it for?

Product managers, designers and engineers who talk to customers and decide what to build next. It works for one team or several in an organisation, each with its own goals and roadmap.

How does it work?

Four steps, from a question to a plan. The film shows the agent at work.

  1. Set a goal

A goal is the question your team wants answered, such as “Why do customers leave after a failed payment?”

  2. Add interviews and product data

Write up what customers tell you, and add the numbers that show what they do: type a few values, or upload a CSV or Excel file from your analytics tool.

  3. Ask the agent

It reads your interviews and data, answers with the evidence for each point, and tells you when a belief isn't supported.

  4. Plan on the roadmap

Add the opportunities you find to a roadmap, month by month. Their evidence stays attached for everyone to see.

An illustration of the discovery agent: a team asks why customers leave after a failed payment. The agent reads three interviews and one data set, answers with the evidence for each point, shows that a belief about price isn't supported, and proposes an opportunity the team adds to the roadmap.

How is Discovery different?

Most teams keep what customers say in a research repository, a general AI chat or spreadsheets. Here is what changes with Discovery.
